DISCLAIMER

The Agreements Atelier (“The Atelier”) is owned and operated by The Alcove LLC, a California limited liability company (“The Alcove,” “we,” “us,” “our”). This Disclaimer applies to www.agreementsatelier.com, every funnel, checkout, and membership page we operate, every template, course, workshop, email, and social media post associated with the Atelier, and everything we sell.

This Disclaimer is part of our Terms of Use & Purchase. Where they overlap, read them together. If you do not agree with what follows, please do not use the site or buy from us.

Plain English: this page is the short, blunt version of the most important limits on what we’re selling you. It’s worth two minutes.

1. THE ALCOVE LLC IS NOT A LAW FIRM

The Alcove LLC is a business that has a community platform, hosts events, sells educational materials and downloadable contract templates. It is not a law firm. It does not practice law and does not provide legal services or legal advice to anyone.

2. NOTHING HERE IS LEGAL ADVICE

Everything we publish and sell is general educational and informational content. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for legal advice from an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction who knows your facts.

This applies to all of it — templates, courses, workshops, replays, workbooks, checklists, emails, newsletters, blog posts, captions, comments, DMs, live Q&A, and anything said in a community space. There is no format in which we give you legal advice through the Atelier.

3. WE ARE NOT YOUR LAWYERS

Buying, downloading, reading, or using anything from the Atelier does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and The Alcove LLC, between you and Shivani Law PC, or between you and any attorney associated with either.

None of the following creates one: purchasing a template or course; downloading or using a template; reading this site; emailing us; submitting a form; booking or attending a call, workshop, webinar, or live session; asking a question in a community, a comment, or a DM; getting a reply from us; or being called a customer, member, or student anywhere.

There is exactly one way to become a client of Shivani Law PC: you sign a written engagement agreement — a retainer agreement — with that firm, and the firm countersigns it after running a conflicts check. Until that happens, we are not your lawyers, we owe you none of the duties a lawyer owes a client, and you should not rely on anything here as advice given to you. No employee, contractor, or affiliate of The Alcove LLC can change that by saying otherwise.

4. DO NOT SEND US CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

Because no attorney-client relationship exists, anything you send us is not privileged and not confidential. Please do not send us the details of a dispute, a threat letter, a demand, an investigation, or any other sensitive matter. We cannot protect it, and sending it could affect your rights.

If you are in an active dispute or facing a deadline, stop reading and speak with a licensed attorney.

5. ATTORNEY ADVERTISING — AND WHY IT STILL DOES NOT MAKE US YOUR LAWYERS

Portions of this site, and of our emails, advertisements, and social media, may constitute attorney advertising under the rules of certain jurisdictions. We say so plainly rather than leave anyone guessing.

The templates were drafted by Shivani Honwad, Esq., an attorney admitted to practice law in the States of New York and California, and admitted nowhere else.

Attorney advertising is not legal representation. An advertisement is an invitation to consider hiring a lawyer. It is not the hiring of one. Seeing our marketing, clicking it, replying to it, or buying something because of it creates no attorney-client relationship, no duty, and no right to rely — see Section 3. Only a signed retainer agreement with Shivani Law PC does that.

Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Shivani Law PC is a separate entity from The Alcove LLC; purchasing from the Atelier does not retain that firm and does not make you its client.

6. JURISDICTION MATTERS, AND WE DON’T KNOW YOURS

Our templates are drafted as general-purpose starting points for a broad U.S. audience. They have not been reviewed against your state, your industry, your licensing requirements, your counterparty, or your risk tolerance.

Contract law, consumer protection law, employment and independent contractor classification, privacy law, and industry licensing rules vary significantly from state to state — and they change. A clause that is standard in one state can be unenforceable, or can trigger a penalty, in another.

We strongly recommend you retain an attorney licensed in your own state to review any template before you sign it, send it, or rely on it. Not a friend who runs a similar business. Not a coach. Not an AI tool. An attorney admitted where you and your business actually operate, who can tell you whether the document works there.

If you are in New York or California, Shivani Law PC may be able to help — but only under a separate signed engagement agreement, after a conflicts check. If you are anywhere else, we are telling you honestly: find local counsel.

7. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee that any template is enforceable, complete, accurate, current, or legally sufficient for you; that a counterparty will accept or honor it; that it will protect you in a dispute; or that it will produce any particular legal, financial, or business outcome.

Our products are provided “as is.” You use them at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for how you fill them in, what you change, who you send them to, and what you sign.

8. NO EARNINGS OR BUSINESS RESULTS PROMISE

Nothing we sell is a promise of income, revenue, growth, clients, or business success. Any figure, example, case study, or result we mention is illustrative only. Your results depend on your industry, your market, your effort, your pricing, your timing, and many factors outside our control — and outside yours.

9. TESTIMONIALS AND REVIEWS

Testimonials, reviews, and success stories reflect the individual experience of the person who gave them. They are not typical, not verified as to outcome, and not a guarantee of your results. We do not pay for testimonials. If a testimonial were ever given in exchange for anything of value, we would disclose it alongside the testimonial.

10. ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

We work hard to keep our materials accurate and current, but the law changes and mistakes happen. We do not warrant that our content is free of errors or omissions, and we are not obligated to update any template or course after you buy it. Please verify anything you intend to rely on.

11. AFFILIATE AND SPONSORSHIP DISCLOSURE

We sometimes recommend third-party tools, software, or services. Some of those links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend things we actually use or believe in, and a commission never changes what we recommend. Where a post or email is sponsored, we say so.

12. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LINKS

The site may link to third-party websites, tools, and resources. We do not control them, do not endorse everything on them, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, terms, or privacy practices.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Your use of the Atelier is governed by the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions in our Terms of Use & Purchase, which are incorporated here in full. Among other things, our total liability is capped as set out in those Terms.
